| GLAUCOMA : |
| Dhawal Kishor Ganatra : 30 year old male, chartered accountant was a known glaucoma patient since childhood. He was a myopic which also required frequent visit to ophthalmologist. All his life was on glaucoma medication. But recently, his pressure would not get controlled by maximum medication. On 17th August, 2008. Anti-glaucoma surgery was done at Ojas Laser Eye Surgery Centre and now he doesn’t need to put any medication (drops in his eyes). Even sitting long hours in front of the computer is not a problem for him. |

| INTACS FOR KERATOCONUS : |
| Jasmine Doshi is a 58 year old female. She is an active lady who runs a few factories and has to a travel a lot for work. All the time taking care of her glasses was a big burden for her. She came in the year 2000 for a refractive surgery advice, but was diagnosed as Keratoconus and was advised to wait for some suitable treatment option. | A businessman who was finding difficulty in driving after a cataract surgery which he underwent at some eye surgery centre. Climbing stairs and driving were big problems and he developed some problems in retina. | PRELEX : |
| Sapna Sipahimalani is a 60 year old female patient. She came in for opinion about refractive surgery. She was wearing glasses for 10 years and used contact lenses for 2 years. She was not wearing contact lenses because of repeated allergies. Her social life required going to parties etc. and if she wore contact lenses, she was not able to read and she had to use glasses over them. |

| She was advised to undergo refractive lensectomy (Prelex) to make her independent of glasses for almost all of her activities. Both her eyes were operated in one week interval. |

| After healing time, she has 6/6 vision in both her eyes and she is able to drive comfortably and do all her activities without the complexities of dealing with contact lenses and glasses. |

| IMPLANTABLE CONTACT LENSES : |
| Amar Bipin Shah, 20 year old male patient came to us for routine check up as he had very high glass numbers. He had tried contact lenses to improve his vision, but could not tolerate it. First thing in the morning he had to look for glasses and then only he could go around with his routine activities. |
