I had done my Silk Surgery at Ojas eye Hospital, surgery performed by Dr Niteen Dedhia. Surgery went very smoothly in max 15 min both eye silk surgery has been done. Throughout the surgery there was no pain or discomfort. Even after the surgery I have not felt any pain at all. Next day, I have achieved 6/5 vision and even 6/4 I can see but it was slight blurry. I have been informed within a week vision will be sharper. I recommend Dr Niteen Dedhia for Silk eye surgery and for eye related issues. I was in need of glasses since an early age… And in the profession I choose (ACTING) these certainly were a hindrance. I tried contact lenses for sometime… It did help but the botheration was too much and sometimes the irritation, the redness would show on camera. My father (…your professor of ophthalmology), Dr Sharad Karyekar advised me on the latest options for correction on my eyesight with the use of laser. We discussed at length… and he, having full faith in you as his student, insisted on me getting my LASIK surgery done by YOU… So we visited your clinic and your efficient staff promptly carried out pre-op examination in detail. Dad speaks very highly of you. I was eager to meet you. We did meet… but by then my pupils were so dilated that your presence felt like a haloed celestial body to me! Your reassuring voice instilled a lot of peace in me and we decided to operate the very next day. But the operation was carried out PAINLESSLY, without any injections and swiftly, even before I had time to realize. After the operation… I sat with shields covering my eyes and my mind wondering about the miracle called “MODERN OPHTHALMOLOGY”!! It’s been a month since the LASIK surgery and i feel quite relieved not having to bother with contact lenses, glasses and not being able to see. Now, I feel good coz I can see clearly with no hassles, and relieved from glasses after 10 years.

She was suffering from a squint but the highly trained and welcoming team of the hospital made this tough times a comfortable one. The medical process was explained in depth which gave us a green signal with the sense of security and decided to go ahead with the surgery. I once again thank the entire team at Ojas for gifting my daughter the gift of a better sight.

The staff is friendly and the hospital is very clean. The entire procedure being performed by the doctor is explained to us before going ahead and all our queries are resolved until I was satisfied. I know my eyes are in safe hands at Ojas Eye Hospital and thanks to the team there I can see crystal clear again! As now I don’t have to see the world through glasses (laughs). My communication skills have developed as I open up easily to people now. I got the Opti laser eye surgery couple of days ago in this clinic and must say coming from Canada I didn’t feel any difference in the service provided or the technology used. The staff was very professional and knowledge. World class laser machine was used and the whole process took about 10 mins.
